good morning to all

well another morning here of my new post accident existence.  bob just brough me a mug of coffee, poor guy is like busy with me 24/7.  im feeling a bit less bruised as the ribs are starting to heal slowly, now i just have to sit and wait for the foot which will take 8-12 weeks they tell me, and im only through 2 of those weeks, sigh.

i really cant do much, either in wheelchair or on the couch like a blob, but at least my family has been visiting which helps the boredom.

this weeks challenge is to see if we can get me in bobs truck, cause if not, we have to figure out how to get me to the doctors, i have two appts this week alone.

other than that, im so grateful to be alive, it was a nasty car accident and the police are still investigating, so we dont know much at this point.

i wish you all a happy and healthy new year, may we all be safe and well in 2009

hugs to all, jacki

Happy Sunday George and Everyone!

Glad you got some rest, George, as it's a l-o-n-g night when you're tired.  What are you reading?

I got the tree taken down and cleaned our little condo.  The patio decorations will wait until next weekend.  I cleaned out closets and cupboards and the car is filled with GoodWill items.  I finally believe in my smaller sizes so all the dressy cruise clothes are out of here this trip.  Still have some things to finish going through but there's room in my closet for my Macy's gift card now!

Joyce - it's GREAT to see you post!

Annette - Today should be filled with more Melanie and Matthew stories.  Hooray.

Carla - Good luck with your new job and feel better soon.

For those who are hurting, I hope you get better really soon.  Enjoy your Sunday.

Hugs,

Kathi

I am reading a couple of books in the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich.  I am not really impressed with the series, but it is funny at times.  I just finished the first two, I have the third one.  Don't know what I will read after this, I have a stack of about 20 books or so that I have bought and have not read yet.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Happy Sunday Morning everyone!
First for my big news. Onderland!! Even withe the Christmas eating indescretions I made it to onederland. I was so excited.
My DD and SIL are preparing to go back to Chicago. Daughter was here since last Saturday and I have really enjoyed having her around.SIL and granddog came on wednesday. It has been so much fun. Now another part of me will be glad to get my house and boring old routine back. I kind of like being an empty nester. Now the other kid, DS is planning on staying for most of his Christmas vacation before going back to college. We might have to have a talk if he is doing that. He sleeps until 2 then moves to the couch a sleeps until I feed him. Then about 8 he says he is going out with friend. Last night he left to meet his friend at 11pm.  If he is staying longer he is going to have to pitch in and help some around here. 22 yo boys!

had a great holiday but too much food. Today I plan on relaxing a bit. I am not used to always being so busy. I feel busy but at least i go to bed when i am tired. I have been trying to keepup with my 26 year old daughter and  need some time before work tomorrow.
The puppy has been quite an active process also. Maybe I will have time to read today Who knows.
hope everyone has a good day.
Cheryl

hi all..been kinda mia-
we slept alot this weekend-
spent much of today -and last nite- in online genealogy land--finding some interesting Rev War stuff! and found at least one more Patriot!! that makes 15!!!! and i have a good line on #16 if i could just connect him to my grampa pipher...there is one of my brick walls!

today , we talked serioulsy again about our future living plans and i think we are going to try to list the house by mid-february--i know nothing is moving but you can't win if you don't play!!!!!!!! so that puts most of the onus on me since michael did so much of "his" work last fall- that would be the purging and packing part of the move...oh i hate that!

i cannot believe that tomorrow i smonday-again! ucka.....

anyhow- just checkin in on everyone....
hugs and prayers..........................................

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
